HEB and Unilever Present: Texas Recycles Day 2025 – Impact Film

Texas Recycles Day is an annual initiative in San Antonio, Texas, encouraging schools across the San Antonio Independent School District (SAISD) to participate in recycling and environmental stewardship.

Sponsored by H-E-B and Unilever, the program has helped schools recycle more than 3 million pounds of waste over four years, awarding over $46,000 in grants to participating campuses.

Our friends at Media Bar partnered with program organizers to document the initiative’s impact through a short film. The piece highlights Herff Elementary’s transformation through volunteer efforts and environmental improvements on Texas Recycles Day, November 14, 2025.

Role

Light Station Creative handled the full post-production process for the film, shaping the narrative and pacing from interviews and footage captured by the Media Bar production team.

The edit focuses on celebrating the collaboration between students, educators, community volunteers, and sponsors that made the initiative possible.
